I have been using LimeWire V1.7c just fine. I cleaned up my hard drive (evidently deleted something needed). LimeWire wouldn't run. No problem, I'll just reinstall. When I try to reinstall I get a message "Error 1610" and the installation stops.
I have deleted LimeWire directory, Cleaned Temp directory, deleted all references to LimeWire in the Registry. Downloaded new LimeWire and then tried to reinstall. Still same error. I am running Win98SE on ASUS MB with 600 mhz PIII, 256 mb memory. I have 15.2 GB space on one hard drive (LimeWire drive) and 6.2 GB space on the other hard drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Thanks for the head's up.
This issue should be fixed in the final release of 1.8. Are you able to install 1.8 successfully? Thanks. |
