WireShare 5.6.4.3 bug problem

Using WireShare like I have many times before, but I've recently started getting a message that says "A Problem Occurred..." which then says "WireShare has encountered an internal error. It is possible for WireShare to recover and continue running normally. To continue using WireShare, close this window. If desired, you can click 'Show Bug' to look at the information about the error."

The bug text is too long to post here. Has anyone experienced this message yet? It keeps periodically popping up with multiple windows that don't want to close. Any clues?

The most important information in such reports is usually the first ten to fifteen lines of the report. But without any details of the report it's impossible to know what the problem is. :)

The two possibilities I can think of that were worked upon were a memory problem & a problem with connection preferencing, the latter would mention a problem connecting to a leaf when running in ultrapeer mode. However these only resulted in a single popup window.

Bigjx would be the one to sort this out.

If it's a persistent problem (& looks as though it is), try downgrading to 5.6.4.2
If still issues, save your downloads.dat file & gnutella.net file & delete all other files within your WS preferences folder. Return those two files then startup WS again. You'd need to do the WS setup questions again. Looks as though you have port forwarded so you would need to re-add that port again into the port forward portion WS Listening Ports settings.

Thumbs up for sticking with Snow Leopard. :D So have I.

deleting the files seems to have worked. Thanks for the help!
