..?

Only a Hobo, isn't the new Limewire version have something to do with having an iTunes plugin that enables you to automatically add files from limewire to iTunes? On the main page of limewire, its says "iTunes integration for Mac and Windows users "..could you be more specific?

Hmm

Please explain.

Thanks:confused:

OAH is getting confused with mac LW. On windows you can drag from the library window to iTunes: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...52&postcount=9 (mac can't do this!)

And you can drag from the desktop/downld folder, etc. to iTunes as described here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...52&postcount=8

So is that the new LW 4.12 update?

can you only do that with the newest version?

..because i used to have pro, but the main inconvenience was that i had to add files manually using itunes, add file to library...

..and my pro version i had had for years... so i cant have an update.

so. can you drag n drop using LW library in the old versions?

or can you do it only in the newest version?

It depends how old your version is. I'm not sure when this ability was added, but it's been available for over a year. More details on version releases here http://www.limewire.com/english/cont..._history.shtml

hmm my old version was LIMEWIRE PRO 4.10...

does that work?

Lord of the Rings July 17th, 2006 03:37 PM

Yes .. but "having an iTunes plugin that enables you to automatically add files from limewire to iTunes" is an incorrect assumption. There is no such thing. What it means is that you can now have an automatic LW playlist within iTunes. If you want to import songs automatically, then get a mac. I have one for sale if you're interested. :D Otherwise see the links given. There's many more ways than one to add songs to iTunes. Experiment: (click here to find other methods!)
