Downloading just parts of audio
 

Is it possible to download just part of an audio file (or edit (pare down) a full file once it is downloaded)? When I prepare CD's/DVD's of my world travels, sometimes I want to add some music to compliment the photos but usually I don't need too much of the piece. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks:)

Get an audio editing program. Audacity (FREE) will do the job!!! ;) http://audacity.sourceforge.net/windows.php It can open mp3's & save into whatever format you desire such as wav 16 bit 48 khz for dvd, etc.

However using a program to convert to Dolby Sterio AC-3 would be the best last step. It would save heaps of space for the video conversion.
