 10 is the max for Pro users, 8 for basic users. I believe if you run as an ultrapeer you can get higher. But having never been a UP I can't confirm that. The reason for keeping the hosts per downld limited is to make sure everybody can get a connection to downld from. Otherwise people would hog heaps of hosts' upload slots & everybody else would be in queues for almost forever.  |
