This is what I've noticed
 

Lately LW has been returning a lot of bogus files. All of these files show up first and always have double digit sources of 40 or more, always have a size less than 1000kb, and in the comment (mouse over) will usually say not related. Not that many legitimate files will have double digit sources and very few will return 80 sources, so the fakes are easy to avoid. Searching for more results will cause the fakes to double the sources while legit files will remain the same or increase somewhat. This is more of an annoyance than anything else. I dwnd 100's of files within a relatively short time and have only noticed one real problem; some files will remain in the incomplete directory that are in fact complete. Some will show up as corrupt, they're not. Some will show up in your dwnld directory with 'T' as the artist name. Use your player and try them. I don't claim to know what is going on; these are just my observations. I use WinXP Pro sp2 and LW Pro v4.12.3 and connect with cable broadband. Overall I guess I'm satisfied; I just wish that all these 'extra' returns would go away. BTW, I filter nothing.

Here are some words to filter, incase you want to give that a go. If you use the audio search there is no need for the Illegal and pron list.

It will not remove all spam, but it helps a bit.

Also have a look at the "How to find music" thread in this forum.

When not triggering spam in a search but very few results that you want show up, it often helps to right-click on the song name in the search, and use get more results a few times.
(something that hasn't been added to the guide yet, but works quite well)
