need to id what I have stored when surfing
 

I want to know what I have on my computer so when I am searching lw I know what I've already got stored and am not trying to remeber what I have and not downloading music I allready have.
I've noticed that shared music does not register so I wondering do I have to load it on to my saved music and if so how? or must I do another way?
this is what i'm running:

First of all, put all your music in one place! This will greatly simplify your life. Then, to see if you've got a particular song, simply go to the appropriate music folder. You can change the view of your music files from thumbnails to list. This will alphabatize your files and make it much easier for you to determine if you have a song or not.
