Hi all..can you please help me ..I have read the forums but still not sure whats happening!

When I go to LW I have shared files which when I go to find on my computer I cant find them in the LM folder.How can I transfer them to where I want them.

Also there is saved in LM but it appears I dont have any files there.

Hope someone can understand this..all I want is to be able to make a cd! I have nero but I just cant find my downloads.

There are other ways to find your music than through Limewire.

Try searching for it eg. search for mp3 or whatever format your downloads are. More on this in this guide. Also try going to the default save location and see if Limewire just lost connection to the downloads.

note: In your library your filesnames should have black font if they are shared. If the font is red you are not sharing the file. You can correct this by right-clicking on the file(s) and choosing "Share this file"

Go to tools...options...saving to determine what folder your downloads are saved in.

Also, if you have opted to share incomplete files, they will show up as shared files, yet not be of any real use to you (yet, if you can download the remainder of the file).
