Folder Organization
 

Hi - I'm new to LimeWire, so sorry if this is posted elsewhere.

I'm wondering if it's possible to have my downloads automatically put into a folder based on the artist. For example, if I were to download a U2 song and then a Weezer song, the U2 song would go in a folder titles "U2" while the Weezer song would go into a different folder titled "Weezer". Is this possible??

Not possible. All downloads go into one folder.

Actually you can do almost just this but not in Limewire itself. You would need to add new downloads to iTunes, and have iTunes automatically sort into folders by Artist (provided the tags are filled in correcty:)
The songs would start off in the one folder, but it is a simple procedure to select them all and move them to iTunes.

If you use MacOSX it is simpler and easier, but I'm guessing you use Windows.

There are other third party players that will also do this, I'm sure:)
