Some help with sources? I am running a dial-up connection and I don't like to waste time with my downloads. I hear that the more sources your downloading from, the faster your download will be. My question is, how can I check how many sources Ill be downloading from before I download a file?? Also what is the maximum download speed I can get my downloads if my connection speed is 49.2 Kbps? I need a fast reply if possible. Please and thanks.:) |
Dial up is not very fast unfortunatley...Your current speed according to your kbp/s would be about 5 - 6 KB/s.... So even if you have 8 hosts you would be lucky to get your downloads to go any faster... There is also no way of knowing how many hosts you will connect to before you hit the download button...;) |
Thank you :) |
