Increase # of search results by default?

Hi everyone. This is my first post, so please forgive me if this has been covered before.

I have noticed that many of my searches stall out (or slow dramatically) after getting about 200 results. Clicking on "Search More: Get More Results" helps, but I hate having to do this over and over. Is there any way to increase the number of searches that will show up before the search times out on me?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks. :D

You could try removing the current Ultrapeers you are connected to and let Limewire search for some more, you may get different search results this way....

Go to your connections Tab in limewire, if it's not showing up go to Veiw > Show/Hide and make sure the connection tab has a tick next to it...
Then click on the Hosts and remove them and let Limewire search for some more...

Well, that didn't really do what I was hoping for, but interesting none-the-less! I had approximately 10 connections before, then after deleting those, LimeWire only hooked me up to three. My search results seem about the same now. (maybe a little faster ?) With each search bringing up 200-300 results at a time.

PS - I have version 4.14.0.

If you are using Limewire Basic you will only ever connect to 3 ultrapeers..
If you use Limewire Pro you will only ever connect to 5 ultrapeers...
So you wouldn't of been connected to 10, what you must of seen was 10 trying to connect at the same time, but only 3 or 5 will get the positions..

Oh ok. That must have been what I saw. Thanks for the info! :)
