so... i am using vista & limewire 4.14.0

i have no troubles downloading most items,

however, i have tried downloading 'xxxxxxxxxxxxx'

the movie repeatedly, & it never downloads anything,

it keeps saying, connecting... (99 hosts tried)

however many hosts my search originally returns, it

counts up to that number & fails to download.

what gives?

That gives that the said file is a faked one most likely planted by associates of the MPAA.......

the file i wanted specifically was xxxxxxx the movie.... & if you search for it, there are at least 10 versions of it with more than 30 hosts...

i don't understand how they could get the file, but i can't...

even if the file is a 'fake' i should still be able to download it... shouldn't i?

but, even if the file were bogus... i should still be able to download it right? it just shouldn't work when i get it???

or am i missing something still?

You won't be able to download such faked files, cause they actually do not exist.....

They are planted by said organizations to discourage the use of P2P applications...

so it is like a forged link to a file that does not exist, such that when you attempt to download, it says, ha! ur a tard, i don't have that file....

or something to that effect?

and that is to make it more annoying to find real files? is what your saying?
