Two some People have been complaining about the new 4.16 taking up too much Cpu while it's runing here is what you do.Click on.This is in Lime Wire.
Tool's>Options>Advanced>Performance>And tick the Disable TLS Capabilities. This will help with the Cpu problem i clicked it off for mine and it only uses about 10% of my Cpu with is 5/10 Cpu.

Three if you are haveing problems Vewing Movies than you can try vlc player.

Ok here is a tip for people that hate the newer 4.16.6.There is a site called FileHippo.It has all past and the new version of Lime Wire So here it is.Just use the Link i am giveing you.And there are no bugs in these.I have checked them all my self.

Hi please ignore my ignorance re settings but I was really interested in your comment re CPU usage, when using limewire etc my machine can go to 100% useage and freeze. I tried the suggestion given but in the options and advanced I do not have performance - the only comment re TLS is under SECURITY, where it has the box ticked for use TLS 1.0. am i looking in the right place - I am really fed up having to restart my machine.

Well what version of LW are you useing.Some of them dont have these settings.

told u I was computer illiterate - I was doing it in explorer thinking it was the network link instead fo realising you meant from within LW - have now done it , will try it out and see if it works. thanks for getting back to me so quickly :)

Na you really dont have to leave your Lime wire on all the time i dont.But some people do.

Can anyone help? I've downloaded Limewire, but when it comes to instal I get the square green screen up to 12 percent and then it stops

Are you saying when your trying to instal Lime wire in freez's AT 12%.Sounds Like a Java Problem.What Windows are you useing Xp Or Vista.
