Help using nero 8 trial to copy software, from LW

When I double clic the file in Lime wire it goes straight to nero 8, and I can burn it to disc...... but when I try to open the disc that nero created it comes up as just a few hundred file folders, what am I doing wrong? I am new at all of this, and pretty unfamiliar with a lot of terminology, step by step would be a big help so I can use the software program. Is there an important step I am missing?
