OK, I see no one has answered you yet, so I am going to try, but be warned ... I AM NOT TECHNICALLY INCLINED!!!

To the best of my knowledge, ISPs somehow block part of the bandwidth with known P2P programs. Don't ask me how, refer to paragraph one. I have the same problem, cable connection with lots of bandwidth, everything else downloads fast, I do really well to get 30-40 on LW. But, I'm getting my music, so who can complain. Also, I will start out fast and slowly loose speed until I have to close LW. I imagine this is the same thing, but I don't know that for sure.

P.S. I don't think Pro will increase your speed, except that it will increase the # of connections youu have by a few. That doesn't appear to be your problem. Nice to donate to the developers for providing us this great program, tho

Yeah I don´t have to close LW but I start up with even 90-100 kb/s but then it starts losing speed and now I´m at only 15. Help, anyone?

Download speed observation

Don't know if this will help or not but from my own experience I can say that when I upgraded to version 4.18.2 my download speeds were reduced by an average of over 70%. That update is the only change to my system. Same ISP, etc. I will remove ALL indications of Limewire and re-install the older version to test it out.
