Lost old Limewire songs during 4.18.3 installation.

I recently installed LW 4.18.3 over my older version of LW and eiher lost all of my old songs or I do not know where they are. Does anyone have a solution??? If the songs are lost forever, can I upload them from my I-Pod back to LW?? Thank you for your help.:confused::(
