Default Limewire/Itunes assistance

Could someone pls tell me how I can get the new music that I downloaded in Limewire to update to my itunes library so I can synch it to my ipod?

*I had a heck of a time already just getting it all compatible with the new ipod...I finally had to remove itunes 7.7 and download an older version- i got it all on the ipod but now I have added new music to limewire and I don't see it in my itunes so I can synch it as well to the ipod. thank you!

Apple made the more recent versions of itune incompatible with Limewire. They also made it impossible for an older version to work with the new libraries. It's very nasty of them. I have been sending my files to the Media Monkey library and then into copying that file into itunes. It's a true hassle, but most songs eventually get loaded.

I've spent well over $10,000 on music in my lifetime. I don't feel the need to pay Apple for music. I do pay for songs through emusic. They run about a quarter apiece for the 75 song per month package. I also buy one audiobook per month, and add extra song packs as needed. I already own most of the music on cassettes, CD's and albums (thousands of them... mostly used.) Why pay for each format of each song?

I'd love to hand over my cash to worthy musicians. I love music and am willing to spend money for it, but only to the artist. I never felt an ounce of guilt when taping hours worth of FM radio playlists. They were playing it for free... I listened to the advertisements. I have PAID my dues.

(Sorry--that subject gets me steamed.)

In anycase, if you have already downloaded the newest versions of itunes it's to late to change it back. And I would not want anyone to get version 8 with Genious unless they want Apple looking through their ipod's library.

I personally don't think it's any of their business, but some people might enoy how they create playlists from your collection.

Did that help at all???
