seperate genre files

  1. Hi,new to peer to peer and lime wire so please be patient! My daughter and I are both going to use lime wire however we listen to different genres and I want to keep them seperate in the library of both lime wire and my media player. I found the filter to seperate media but not genre.

At least for search results, you can add this category: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/limewi...tml#post240033 though of course not all audio files are id3 tagged or all correctly tagged.

As for Library, that's more complicated. Do you both log into different accounts on computer & use different download locations? Off-hand I cannot think of a way to achieve what you desire automatically.

As for Media Player, perhaps a playlist for each person? Put the artists of each genre into each person's playlist or organise them via genre. However that will not affect their file listing in the actual computer folder directories. I do not use media player so cannot such options check for you.

Thanks Adrians B.B.C.
That's what I can't finger out is how to organize by genre on my media player. Seperate playlists may be my only option.
:PEACE: Thanks
