While we are complaining, here is mine. Limewire 5 is the worst excuse for an "upgrade" that i have even seen in my life! I can ind nothing about it that is better than the old version, but a lot that is worse. This is a great example of a company telling it's customers what they need rather than asking them what they want. Since V5 came out, I like Limewire and the company less and less. Good grief guys, give us something at least as good as the old version!

i so agree... do you have any idea why everything i try to d/l comes up as corrupt???? do you know of any other such programs for d/l'ing music??

Somebody solved that issue by changing their downloads location/destination. They were using Vista.

Someone else solved that problem by going back to LW 4.

Have you checked the songs with more than one player? VLC - (click on link) even though is primarily a video play will play all audio files you find on gnutella network. If VLC cannot play the file you know the file is bad. If the skipping also occurs with VLC then you know the file is bad.
