Localizing Phex

We've created a small guide to localizing Phex in our wiki.

If you have any questions about the guide or translations in general, please ask them.

Seems we forgot to modify the link in the wiki after we changed the code structure...

I corrected the links.

You can get the file from

https://phex.svn.sourceforge.net/svn...ang.properties

To which language do you want to translate (my bet would be spanish :) ).

LOL .. yes!!...
I've read; in your blog, you are learning the language, so I guess you'll have the chance to make some corrections... ;=)

BTW, It took me 2 years living in Hamburg to learn a little bit of Deutsch and I now (after 10 years) I've forgotten allez. RLMAO

Kind Regards

I'm struggling with learning, yes :)

It's hard living in three languages at the same time (Deutsch for my real life, english for my computer life and learning Español for my love and wife - and some Esperanto when I manage to find time to speak the language I'd like to see as worldwide second language :) ).

I recently switched to learning with computer games. There's "Lost magic" which is avaible in Deutsch and Español, so I play one chapter german and then the same again in spanish to get a better feeling of the language.

No hablo muy de español,
but far too much english,
und mein Deutsch scheint manchmal darunter zu leiden :)

I can imagine that :)

There's schoolbooks in germany which begin with the sentence "Deutsch ist schwer" :)

Best wishes,
Arne

Hi Arne

I understand about the three languages, it took me too long to get the idea about 4 languages traveling all over Sweiz.. That was a real headache!!!! :bangh:

You must tell your wife to give u a little help you never know how much women can help you :=)

I'd like you to provide me with a link for that game... it seems interesting, maybe I can make my eldest daughter to remember her Deutsch, she used to speak fluently but now she only "embarress" me (joke)

Thanks for the tip about the book.. tooooo laaaaate !!! I already have it :D (that was my first lerning book). I must only find the time to refresh my memory but with my age.. I doub it :PEACE:

and regarding your prlbem...

I can imagine Schweiz being worse than my situation :)

But I do get help from my wife, and I'm glad about that.

Lost magic isn't a free game, sadly.

LostMagic for DS - LostMagic Nintendo DS - LostMagic

(I like it a lot, though :) )

But Battle for Wesnoth is a free game: Battle for Wesnoth , and it's partly avaible in german, too :)

Liebe Grüße,
Arne

Hello I found Phex on SF and it seems interesting. I would like to translate it in italian, but i can't download the langfile. What I have to do?

GregorK December 14th, 2008 04:16 PM

Hi eagleman,

an Italian translation would be great!
I just updated the outdated links in the tutorial that describes how to translate Phex:
http://www.phex.org/wiki/index.php/T..._Localize_Phex

The English language file can be found here:
https://phex.svn.sourceforge.net/svn...ang.properties

If you need any further help, don't hesitate and contact us.

Thanks,
Gregor
