Installer issue
 

Hi there,

Limewire 2.7 Installer doesn't want to launch and reports that:
<The main class "com.zerog.lax.LAX" could not be loaded>
(Mac OS X 10.1.5, all updates done)

I know that this kind of problem has already been discussed, but it was about the Limewire application itself; here it concerns the Installer and I can't find any .lax file anywhere since Limewire cannot be installed.
(Installs Anywhere ?)

Help much appreciated.

Sorry ! I just found a thread about that (after performing a manual search...) and, as described there, moving the installer to the desktop (root of the HD) fixes the problem.
(And NOT logging as root, as it was understood by somebody !)

I suggest it is documented in the FAQs.
