installer crashes

I get the same problem, and I get the problem with the OpenOffice (also ZeroG) installer. But, I don't get the problem with other users on teh same machine, on the same partition even.
!!!!!!!
I've been trying to fix this for a while now.

Doesn't anybody have any idea what's going wrong here?
