Why does it start running in OS9?

I have downloaded limewire for OSX and installed it, however, when I try to open it, the computer starts up classic and begins running in OS9. How can I stop that?

Is there another old LW for OS 9 on the hard drive somewhere?

Also, drag any LW icon form the dock to the trash, and double-click the LW app in the OSX applications folder to make sure you are starting the OSX version,
