How do you chat?

I have chat turned on in 2.6.2 pro and I see the chat face under Monitor but I can't see how to initiate a chat session. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Stan

It's easiest to chat with someone if they also have the chat enabled. Control click any file you're dwnlding or uplding or in search results & you'll see the option to Chat with that person. Control-click on Mac OSX is the equivalent of Right-clicking using Windows.

See: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=30911

& perhaps How do you receive a chat message in Limewire?

There's no guarantee they will be at their computer when you send a chat message. Many people leave their comp's on overnight or whilst they're at work/school or hidden in the background whilst they are using other programs. Also some p2p vendor types are unable to chat or unable to chat with LW.

If still in need of help, search for chat on the forum, else post back.
