cannot download

I have a brand new i-mac g5 with Tiger, I installed limewire today and cannot for the life of me get anything to download. I tried the firewall and the workaround that is posted as well and java 15. When I double click a file or hit the download down arrow I get nothing...any help?

I found a similar post, followed the instructions on un-ticking the license box and
presto-chango...i can download
