Once downloaded, there should be a file called "LimeWireOSX.dmg" on your desktop (or where ever Safari downloads files).

Double-clicking the .dmg should open a disk image called "LimeWire"

Inside the disk image, there should be a green icon to double-click, which will start the installer process.

How far in the process did you get?

Cheers

This is the same problem I'm having. I open the installer and get completely through it, but after it says the install has been completed, nothing happens. No icon to put in Applications or anything. Also, I don't know if this means anything, but when I first open the installer, the Limewire icon appears on the bottom of the screen, bounces, and then disappears.
