limewire problem (won't install)

hey i downloaded limewire and it says to double click "install limewire" to begin installation but when i click on it, limewire opens up and closes up in a second. is there anyay to fix it?

p.s. i have a mac os x and YES i downloaded the right version

p.p.s. ive restarted my computer several times and ive waited a month and it still does the same. ive also uninstalled it and reinstalled it a bunch of times.

some one help PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
