I just d/l'ed Limewire and went through the whole install. The first time, I opened it with Stuffit Deluxe, which produced a (seemingly) viable installer. I ran the installer and subsequently launched Limewire, but all I got was a blank alert box with a blue "quit" button. At the time, I was running Netscape and Pitbull... I quit those apps, trashed Limewire and re-opened the compressed installer and ran it again. This time, I installed in the default location (I had previously had it in a sub-folder of my Applications folder). Having read the various issues on the BBS, I am not sure what the problem was, but someone else having a similar problem might benefit from my experiences here... AFAIK, Limewire is now running just fine.

Thanks very much for posting this. I will copy it to the installer section.
