Problems Installing limewire 5 using tiger 10.4

Hello, I am trying to install limewire 5 in my mac, using tiger 10.4, when i install it asks me to confirm upgrade and I do, it tells me that I it was installed successfully but I cannot find it anywhere

I have tried everything, i installed 4.16 I trashed the lime wire package from receipts, and reinstalled, It tells me that it installed successfully but their is no icon for lime wire, and I still cant find it after being installed

Did you install LW on your OSX drive? If yes, go to apple's menu bar, Go menu & choose Applications. It should be there.

If you installed LW onto a different drive, it will create its own applications folder & the LW program folder will be within there.

If you find the program, you can select program by selecting LW & Command L creating an alias which you can move to desktop. Else open the program, whilst in the Dock, control-click the icon in dock & choose Keep in Dock.

See point #1 here: Downgrading to LimeWire 4 from 5 & resuming incomplete downloads. I presume you were looking for LW 4 for OSX 10.4.
