Temporary Preferences Folder

Running OSX 10.6.4

MacBook Pro 2.53GHz intel core 2 duo

It installed but when i open it it says it cant create a temporary preferences folder and it says to check permissions...

i clicked info on the limewire app and under permissions it says read&write so i dunno what to do
