Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

Looks like with the upgrade to Acquisition 2, new codes were needed. Have you tried redelivery of your activation code via entering your email address? Acquisition Activation Code Redelivery Tool

Their Release notes do not give dates which is not very helpful. You may need to obtain a new activation code.
