New version = Invocation Target Exception (LAX) Used old version of OSX limewire fine, upgraded to newest version because of all the hoop-la about it. Well installs fine but it won't run - some type of "Invocation Target Exception" having to do with Java. So I figured I would upgrade to that new Java, right? Well I didn't see a Mac OSX or even Mac version. Any help is MUCH appreciated. |
It looks like our latest version is relying on a newer version of Java being on your system. Try manually using software update (System Preferences>>Software Update>>Update Now, something like that). Software Update should tell you that there's a new version of Java available, and you should go ahead and download it. The next time you run LimeWire, it should work fine. |
I just updated the OS X LimeWire version only to fix this problem. This is version 2.3.4, even though your pro page will still say 2.3.3. Let me know if it still gives you problems. |
