Version? Upgrade?

I see the latest version of 2.7, but the one I had most recently downloaded was 5.0. Am I up to date, behind or ahead? I thought I had the latest but keep getting notices about a new version 2.7. Since I have 5.0 I'm confused.

If you highlight the LimeWire Application and go to File > Get Info on Mac, you are seeing the version of Launch Anywhere (mine is 4.5).

You need to run LimeWire and then go to: Help (in the LW window) > About

There you will see which version of LimeWire you are using.
