Tucows.com has the 2.74 version of Limewire available for download. It works, but it's a little frustrating, having paid for the Pro version to be back to the basic version, but at least it does work.

I have done the same workaround after purchasing Pro. However, I keep getting the setup wizard on startup. Any suggestions?

There was another thread about this, i tried it and it worked:
delete the limewire preference folder in the system folder, and then rebuild the desktop, voila, it starts without the setup wizard, or at least it did once, I haven't tried it again to see if it still works. Good luck. |
