![]() I used Limewire 1.7 with no problems up until about a month ago, mainly because I couldn't get more recent limewires to install. I recently removed 1.7 and tried to install 2.8.5 (noVM). The installer starts up and then just hangs. No indication, no nothing. I've waited for several minutes thinking that it was doing something but to no avail. This behavior has been repeated using 2.7.13 as well as several of the 2.8 versions. I am on a Rev B iMac (233 MHz) with 160 Mbyte RAM, running MacOS 8.6. As I said I was happy with 1.7 until it stopped working (i.e. not finding any files). Since limewire said upgrade if you are running < 2.6, I did. Now I got nothing. Thankfully I found iSwipe. |
