I have beeen using Limewire with no problems for many months.
All of a sudden it corrrupted - so I tried to reinstall (after running the uninstall app.)
I keep getting an error message which reads 'Whilst trying to run the next step of this installer an error occurred. Could not find file InstallAnywhere installer. Please contact your software vendor.'

Despite downloading InstallAnywhere I'm still getting nowhere.
I'm running Mac OS 9.2.

Any ideas?

I copied this from the FAQ page on the LimeWire website. You should give this a try. I hope this helps.

A: Increase the preferred size of the installer in the "Get Info" window for the installer file, and then run the installer again. If the installer gives you another error, reboot your computer and run the installer one last time.

No. Increase memory doesn't solve this very annoying problem !
What's the hell with this InstallAnywhere stuff !!!

How strange is my Macintosh. (Who decoded to call it after an item of rainy day wear anyway!?) As if by magic it decides to install Limewire without any problems as soon as it is switched on the next day. However it now crashes if I ask it to perform more than one search at a time. I can live with this for the moment. Just wait till I get my new G5!!!
