I have just downloaded songs on limewire and wish to transfer them to my itunes library, but cant figure out how. If anyone knows how to tranfer them, please help.

Try this: Open iTunes and go to the Edit menu and come down to preferences, then click the General tab if it is not already selected and look for where it says "Use iTunes for Internet Music Playback" and click the "Set" button. This is how to set iTunes to automatically launch when you click on a song.
