Downloaded and installed great...will not launch?
 

Using the same Mac Powerbook G-3 that I used with previous versions of Limewire, suddenly
new version of Limewire, (unfortunately trashed old version and installer)(no matter how many times I download or from which source)
it acts like it will launch and then simply quits. Probably simple solution, but I am stumped.

Any help?

You need to create an alias of the Limewire plug and place that on the desktop and start from there. I had the same problem and this fixed it.

Sorry to say this fix did not work. For a moment it looked like it would, but Limewire would not launch.

Same exact problem-Please help...
 

I have the SAME exact problem, same Mac OS and I'm stuck at the same spot, can someone PLEASE help???:(

LimeWire pro trouble
 

Since I downloaded and installed Pro software, I seem to have the same problem as many of you.. I start the application and the window opens to search, etc. then everything just disappears and i am left with a big grey window with nothing in it.
