Cannot open downloaded Mp3 files
 

I am unable to open any MP3 files downloaded from limewire. I am using OS 9 with version 2.4 Basic on a shiny platinum G4 and a cable modem. Files are downloading successfully and are placed in the right folder but they are being saved as documents (see enclosed file.) They appear to be the right size file and say they are mp3's but I am unable to unstuff them or open them in any way. When attempting, I am prompted with- Could not open file because the application program that created it could not be found. Please help, I think I will really like Limewire if I can get it to work properly.

Have you got a program to play mp3s like iTunes or Destiny?
If not you have to download a mp3 player app for mac.
