I downloaded a video, then I tried to launch it and nothing happens. What should I do..... I am running Mac X...

What extension are those files in?
If it is .avi it is likely a DivX file. You need the codec: www.divx.com I dont know whether those codecs work on mac too, you have to see. |

all u did was copy a codec to ur extensions folder, right? which basically gives u a picture and sound good cnough to be doctored by divxdoctor.
