I'm sorry I wrote in the wrong board. The icon which popped up when I tried to download the LimeWire seemed to be just a document that wouldn't open cause it couldn't find the application that created it. I never got an installer icon. I also didn't try to drag it onto the Stuffit icon cause I thought Stuffit would automatically launch and open documents as needed. Silly me-I really don't try many things on the internet so there are many challenges for me when I try new stuff. Thanks for any help but I will try to find the right messageboard tonight.
