freezing prob

randomly while using mactella, the entire system freezes completely. only a hard restart is possible then. upon restarting, my computer freezes the instant i try to connect to the internet. the only thing ive been able to do to make the net work after mactella screws up is to restart with extensions off and then restart again. on a G3 350 upgrd card on OS 9.
