A Solution To Copyright Problems:Voluntary Licensing

Label the first 1/10 sec of every file with copyright holders contact, and lincesors info. Non-labeld copies are unlicensed.

Label every copy of every file with this code.

1:Offer new lincesors opportunity to license copy

2:Change the label slightly for every new licensed owner of the file.

So the copyright holder would have to have a database of licenseholdes.

One code for unlicensed, or non coded material
One for licensed

Turn in your unlicensed copy for a licensed one,
voluntary licensing.

So if I record a song, I can license it, maintain a list of purchasers, and own my own song.

People busted with it can buy it, or delete it.

Of course, this code would be ignored in playback

The reason I suggest this here, is if you can make an enable/disable for this function, and setting, etc, you can turn this into a xolox business card type function, as expressed in the virtual garage sale marketing suggestion.
