No search results..someone help!!
 

I am not a computer whiz, but can someone please tell me why morpheus is not working?? I can connect, just don't get any results on searches. I don't understand. Cache is empty. Is it down or something?? Any help will be appreciated!! Thanks!!

Switch to a different client that doesn't spy on you and ruin the network, and actually gives support for their product.
If you like Morpheus, then try out Gnucleus, the software that they ripped their source code from and made worse. If you're looking for a change, then try Bearshare, Limewire, or Shareaza. If you decide to go for Bearshare or Limewire, then don't install any add-ons when it asks you to.
Just remember if you switch clients, you're not missing out on anything, except for a lousy user experience and lots of bugs. They all connect to the same network and return the same files.

Morpheus used to be great when it was on Fasttrack, and it might be good again when they finally come out with their long-awaited 2.0 version, which will have nothing at all to do with the current version, but for now, they just plain suck.

Are you sure that you are connected? Do you have a firewall? If so you have to open the port 6346, with ZoneAlarm, say allow connect and give server rights...

And you should really switch the client, because Morpheus is crap, Sanelson mentioned some you can also try Xolox...

Ultrapeers in gnucleus are nice, and Morpheus is a cheap rip of gnucleus that is currently violating the GPL [Not distributing up-to-date source code] and contains adware/spyware. Although they say it doesnt come with spyware, it attempts to use spyware already installed on your computer. An example of this is Bonzi Bastar... err.. buddy
