morpheus 3.3 is out and is great

morpheus is steadily getting better and better

Maybe good to know morpheus 3.4 is out...

I am wondering when will they support GnucDNAr2 (gnutella 2)

I rekon if they intergrate fast track and the gnutella networks together we would have a huge community! unstoppable lol!:p

Fasttrak sucks... Why ?

NO HASHING --> corrupted files
NO PARTIAL FILE SHARING --> Harder to get non wellspread files.

Why not? it may sux but I look at it this way at least the community will be bigger and as many as a few million will be online at any given time! integrate imesh and winmx, morpheus, kazaa and the rest we will have close to a few million allright!

Connecting to so much Networks would create HUGE overhead.
It would be better if all KaZaA users would switch to another network, and KaZaA would die.

You have to pay for a fasttrack license - do you remember why Morpheus isn´t a part of the fasttrack network anymore? :)
I don´t think Morpheus will again buy a license or that kazaa will sell them one...

btw Shareaza connects to gnutella2 and the donkey network.

You are funny you ask for Gnutella 2 - Shareaza connects to it... now you ask me if it is more usefull??? Do you know what you want? Or do you like this cheap clone of Gnucleus so much? Perhaps you don´t know that the Shareza developer created the protocol for Gnutella 2? Oh I forgot you like cheap copies...

Morpheus was good as long they used fasttrack - now it is only one between many... and sure not among the bests.

Wake up and see the reality - Morpheus is dead!

Of course, a few people are using Morpheus... but how many users had Morpheus 18 months ago? And how many today? You can compare Morpheus with Napster. Napster was the biggest network and today? Some people are still using it but I wouldn´t say that Napster survived. The same with Morpheus a few thousands use it today, 18 monthas ago there were several millions - so you can of course say that Morpheus is dead!

Sure you find your files that you want to download - but Gnutella is not only Morpheus, here are several clients and Morpheus is sure not the biggest...

The last people who use Morpheus are using it because it has a "good" name, but the most realized that Morpheus (fasttrack) is not the same as Morpheus (Gnutella) and switched to Kazaa or other better Gnutella clients.

Tell me why do you use Morpheus? Do you know that Morpheus is only a clone from Gnucleus? And Gnucleus is without spyware and ads...

Don´t understand me wrong, i don´t care which client you use - I just point out that there are other and technically better clients without crapware. Test them and you will see the difference!

I only said something about ED2K, and asked if that was an usefull addition to shareaza... Not in my opinion...

Gnucleus with G2 support than the Morpheus developers can steal again... :D

About Shareaza, I also prefer eMule to connect to the donkey network... but within Gnutella and G2 it is number 1.

ok, let me explain my thoughts...
I hope Morpheus will include the New GnucDNAr2 (gnucdna G2 compatible...)
That would mean i could search Morpheus servents with my newest Gnucleus build.
You understand? It doesn't matter to me if Shareaza's userbase tenfolds, or morpheus includes G2, as long as i can search for files on G2 with Gnucleus...
