I'd still really like to see a changelog. Maybe next time?? Perhaps, after seeing what has changed, you could make et voila change his mind :D

i'd like to see change logs also

the latest build keeps crashing and i've tried reinstalling.

Vampmon September 20th, 2004 01:44 AM

I'll see what i can do about changelogs, BUT no changing et voila, he is totally bitter about Morpheus.

One day, even if he would change his mind and start to like it, he would never admit it.

Odds are Morpheus will not exist that much longer, so et voilà would have to change his mind soon. The golden age of file-sharing may be over in a couple of years - it's either that or world revolution.

et voilà September 20th, 2004 04:26 AM

Here is the changelog:
Updated GnucDNA 1.1.0.7 to 1.1.0.8
Updated NEOnet 6.14 to 6.15
Fixed bugs
Introduced bugs
Magnet links support asked at startup

Well that's it I think:p

Ciao

Oh WOW et voilà, you actually have a brain?

Well great try, BUT I’m sorry to say, that isn't fully completed, and you have made some mistakes :( but don't worry, I’ll correct them for you! :) nice attempt though.

So here's a more accurate/complete changelog.

GnucDNA was updated to support alternate location removals. Limewire implemented this, and John updated GnucDNA to be compatible.

A few NEOnet changes:
1. Some long overdue RTT optimizations to improve search speed. Searches should be faster.
2. Searches were also changed so results can be displayed as they come in. Previously, no results were displayed until all were available, which caused delays as many searches return several hundred results. As this version becomes more widespread, results should be displayed as they come in.
3. DHT recovery mechanisms were updated to be more efficient. These mechanisms help the NEOnetwork transition smoothly in the event of network issues, and make the network more robust and reliable.

I'm not going to post the GUI updates, as I think Kayaman will post a more comprehensive changelog with the next official release.

(I think tooltips were enabled by default)

Your NEOnet technologist,

Risky

et voilà September 22nd, 2004 04:31 AM

So if I understand correctly, you are coding NEOnet and Kayaman is coding the GUI, right? Is there a Egor or an Anthor (edit: maybe llyenor or something like that) that is one of you? If I remember correctly, they posted for Morpheus one time at the GDF.
