Morpheus Official Site [From 17/08/2009]

Morpheus.com went down, and there are still thousands of people trying to download Morpheus from Download.com, well only if they knew Morpheus can now be found here on a simple, easy to remember website.

I have updated the layout, it no longer links directly to Gnutellaforums so it'll look more professional (hopefully) :xirokrotima: but there is a forum link which links to Gnutellaforums. :)

www.morpheus.tk

Looks cool! :) Oh .. forum link suddenly returned. Guess it is only temporary. Ah .. nvm .. working again after a minute. However file_girl71 has collated even more versions of installers. ;)

BTW was 5.5 - 5.7 ever publicly released?

I saw all the installers she posted, but they were never internally tested with Windows Vista or Windows 7 (obviously)

I did test v5.2.3 on Windows 7 myself and it all works fine if users follow the instructions which will take about 30 seconds of their time.

I have also tested v4.9.2 on Windows 7 and it works almost flawlessly, except the fact that it isn't able to open sites from the Morpheus servers so instead tries to open text files. Connected in about 3 seconds to Neo & Gnutella.

The final edition of Morpheus Ultra released to public was 5.5.0 and the final edition of basic released to public was 5.5.1.

Btw, it'll take about a few hours to a day for it to stop redirecting to the forums.

Hi :) Thanx Vampmon! It's really cool site you have made! I notice som of the download links is not working like download Basic 4.9.2 and so on...I guess it will do when every thing goes as it should! I have tested some of the installers on vista, but never on Windows 7...I love to hear Morpheus is running verry well on Windows 7, i had a strong feeling it would do that... Welcom Back To Life Morpheus!:super: I hope you will stay with us, so long it's possible....

haha .. just noticed the double-advertising on the forums when I'm on the morpheus forum link. Works for everybody that way I guess (sponsors). :fingers:

I can remove this if you think it'll be annoying for people, but then the site wont recieve as many visitors.

let me know what you think :)

It simply shifts the forum section down slightly, but shows both lots of ads. From perspective of both the forum owner & members/guests, I do not believe it will be 'annoying' or unacceptable. :fingers: :notsure: :)

What kind of ads do you see? because i dont see many ads, except a small bar on the top of the website with links to other .tk sites.

Hopefully there are no popups, or annoying banner ads ( i don't think there are) but if there is i will remove this straight away because i dont want this types of ads.

This is the part i could do nothing about, i guess it's because the server is gone...The stupid things is that StreamCast had a lot of pre settings which is not possible to remove. It's coded into the apps mostly and not have enny thing to do with the way it's be installed...I which could do somthing about it, but not...I guess we can learn to live with it!;)

No popups no, just as you suggested. A couple quick snapshots & squashed together to save image dimensions, see attachment. You might be using an advert blocker/filter lol :D (I use a widescreen so snapshots tend to be quite large.)

You've done a fantastic job File_Girl with all the installers. Some you could fix with some of the links, some not. It did/does seem to be the way for some p2p devs to hard code such links within the program internally. Nothing much can be done about them. ;)
