Limit the speed of the limiters

I'm sure it's too tough to program, but I'd love to see Limewire go to a system where you can only download at the speed you allow uploads at. I'm so tired of 0KB/s downloads.

Set those upload bars higher, all of us and we'll all be a lot happier with Limewire. Or just do away with the upload speed control all together. Allow a reasonable abount and take it out of our control. that might be better yet!

Those limiters were put there for a reason. More and more people are getting tired of freeloaders, not to mention their damaging to the network. LW is one of the few if not the only clients that let you have this kind of control and for that I salute the programers. I admit, I do lower the bandwith setting every once and a while when I need it for other things. But even though I do that I still leave it at a reasonable level. If you are recieving at 0KBs it's more likely that they have very little bandwith free or you just have a bad connection to them. The upload limiter cannot be lowered so low as to cut you off like that. Anyways there are better ways to screw downloaders like lowering or completely cutting off the download slots.

I don't want to lose control over my upload speed. I multi task on the Internet too much--I need to control how much bandwidth other people are using when downloading from me. And I haven't noticed that it hurts those d/ling from me that much, given the high number of completed downloads I see :)
