Hashing

Why dosen't LimeWire hash shared files like the other Gnutella clients? Hashing allows users to verify that 2 files are the same. Limewire just "assumes" files are the same if they have the same name, but sometimes they are toally different files. Hashing prevents this, and is makes LimeWire more Gnutella friendly, as most other clients DO support hashing.

ahem, LimeWire 2.5 does hash shared files, the beta has already been available for a while and I believe the final release will be within the next few days.
