Don't throw alternate download locations away

Hi there,

often I am downloading something and the download doesn't start because the found host is busy.

Everytime this happens I make LW search for that file again. Sooo often I find another 2-5 additional download locations but can't add them to the download.

This is especially unnerving when when I am in the middle of a download and it goes at 2k per second....

So is there a way short of killing the download and restarting it with the new locations?

Or better, could it be added?

LimeWire will add them automatically if they have the same sha-1 hash.

In theory, yes. However, I've often found this not to be the case. I'm running LW 2.8.6, and often times I've run a search and found multiple locations of a file, and when I downloaded it, it failed and went to a requery. Then I ungrouped the results, and went through checking all of the 4-star results. I found that some of them worked after all. Apparently, the "smart download" feature isn't so smart after all, because it didn't even seem to try any of the other locations.

Search results aren't grouped according to their sha1 hashes but if they have similar names & sizes

Ok, but when one of the hosts failed partway through the download, it said "Requery sent," and sat there for a while. When I killed the download and tried another host, it immediately picked up where the last host left off. Limewire would've had me believe that there were no available hosts with that file, but after killing the d/l a few times and switching hosts, I managed to get the whole thing. I would think that this should be automated.
